Sassy Scoop: Maintain family harmony this summer with Katterwall

For little performers aged between 5-10, the Songs from the Big Screen class takes those all-time fave tunes from classics like Mary Poppins and brings them to life, while Splish Splash Splosh focuses on… yep, an aquatic theme, featuring songs from The Little Mermaid and Popeye to name but a couple. Aye aye!

For teens, take your pick from the fun and fascinating Pop Music Workshop, which promises to give us the real meaning behind those catchy lyrics, and also teaches mic technique to ensure pop performances are super-polished. Alternatively the Youth Music Theatre is an intensive week-long course that will have them belting out classic Broadway tunes, learning the principles of choreography, and even some insider tips on auditions for those wanting to seek their fame and fortune on the stage.

And the fun isn’t just for kids! On Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 June, Kassia Women’s Choir will be performing “Get Back, Get Bach” at the Sheung Wan Civic Centre. This exciting creative collaboration directed by Bethan Greaves sees the merging of two musical icons; The Beatles and J.S. Bach into one amazing performance.
