You’re Invited: Spooktacular Halloween Playgroup with Stamford American School

We’re teaming up with Stamford American School and KidsFest Hong Kong for a Halloween-themed Mama Meet Up

Witches and wizards, monsters and magic… yup, it’s that time of year again: Halloween. If you’re not sure what to do with the little ones for this costume-and-candy-celebration, the Stamford American School Spooktacular Halloween Playgroup is just the solution.

Created especially for children between the age of 1 to 5, this is the perfect way to celebrate the occasion! The playgroup provides a more meaningful Halloween experience than just eating candy. Oh, and did we mention that we’ll be there to make sure that there’s more than enough for the mamas too?

Located at BabySteps in Central, expect a magical morning of Halloween treats, musical time, arts and crafts, and a dramatic storytelling of Room on the Broom, the much-loved children’s book by Julia Donaldson (“Is there room on the broom?” We hear you say!). We’re super excited that the drama experts of Faust International will be leading the interactive learning and singing session, so the kiddies can learn from the best.

While the kids are kept busy, you’ll get to meet and mingle with fellow mamas over Halloween treats, and be inspired by fun and educational activities that’ll develop your bub’s creative, cognitive and fine motor skills… we’d love some new ideas to take home with us!

Halloween just isn’t Halloween without dressing up, so why not go all out and head to the playgroup in your cutest, scariest or funniest Halloween costumes? We’re thinking matching mama and bub outfits, or perhaps your favourite characters from Room on the Broom (Dressing up is totally optional though, so no pressure, mamas. Although we’re sure the kids will be more than keen!).

What: Stamford American School’s Spooktacular Halloween Playgroup for children 1-5 and their mamas (with plenty of nut-free cookies, fresh fruit and orange juice).
When: Wednesday, 19 October, 9:30 to 11am. Please arrive 10 minutes early for registration.
