Kai Tak Malls — Endless shopping venues from designer department stores to kid-friendly pop-ups

Kai Tak Mall 1 and 2 — Family-friendly mall with over 200 shops, a bowling centre and a rock climbing wall
Kai Tak Mall is huge, with over 200 shops spread across two phases. Designed with families front of mind, its covered bridges linking the malls make it an ideal place to walk — even on rainy days! With wide, stroller-friendly walkways and plenty of relaxing zones, there’s plenty to explore (for the kids and parents!) We especially love the pop-ups that take place in this mall, from weekend markets to cute collectables to coffee stands, there’s never a dull moment here!
Plus, there’s no shortage of kid-approved attractions like Epicland indoor playground and immersive entertainment zones, a Top Bowl, a massive 40-lane bowling centre and even a huge rock climbing wall for adventurous teens (and husbands!). Older kids can also head over to Joypolis Sports, a three-storey playground of gamified action, complete with an interactive arena and dojo where agility courses and martial arts-inspired challenges turn exercise into full-on fun.

AIRSIDE — A culture-meets-retail hub with art spaces and family-friendly dining
Located and accesible direct from Kai Tak MTR Station, AIRSIDE is a thoughtfully designed lifestyle space that leans heavily into culture, wellness and family-friendly living. We adore its airy interiors and art installations woven throughout the mall, which make for perfect viewing while sipping on an Arabica coffee.
For excitable kids, Bouncetopia’s 8,000sqft inflatable playground has been our kids’ obsession ever since it opened! For quieter kids, AIRSIDE also features calm corners for downtime and stroller-friendly paths.
And for the parents needing a little TLC and self-care, enjoy Airside’s wellness facilities, such as its fitness studios at Asphodel House offering CrossFit and reformer Pilates classes (seriously considering a move here!) As a bonus, there’s a sauna to unwind, or even just escape mum life for a moment or two.
Pet mums can also enjoy taking their pooch throughout the mall and exploring dedicated pet shops. Plus, when everyone’s hungry, the Food Boulevard has you sorted with enough options to satisfy the pickiest of eaters!

The Twins — An indulgent place with designer shops and a SOGO
If you’re in the mood for a little retail therapy, The Twins’ SOGO is one of Hong Kong’s most gorgeous department stores — without the huge crowds of Causeway Bay! We love browsing the beauty floors, especially before picking up an indulgent treat (or two!).
Babymart on the sixth floor is our highlight as one of the city’s largest one-stop shops for baby gear and essentials. Mamas can also look forward to the upcoming Sky Koen, a 19,000sqft rooftop garden and sculpture park that might just be your next slice of peace in the district.
