One for all your Twilight-mad teens… or any mamas with a raging Robert Pattinson crush! Breaking Dawn: Part 1, the latest film in the Twilight series, isn’t officially released in Hong Kong until 22 December – but you can beat the crowds and be the first to see it with this super-exclusive premiere screening, with all proceeds going to Film Aid Asia. Being a Twi-hard never felt so good!

A great festive show for littlies, The Snowman & The Bear is a magical retelling of Raymond Briggs’ heart-warming Christmas stories, through live music, animation and on-stage narration. Telling the classic tales of a snowman coming to life and taking a boy on an enchanting Christmas journey, or a young girl befriending a mischievous polar bear, we can promise you one thing – there probably won’t be a dry eye in the house! Altogether now – ‘We’re walking in the airrrrrrrr…’

He’s behind you! 
Cross-dressing, cheesy jokes and audience interaction galore, Robin Hood is this year’s ever-popular panto from the fabulous Hong Kong Players. Ohhhhhhh no, it isn’t!!! Oh yes it is!!! And if you’ve not got a clue why we’ve just said that, get down to the HK Arts Centre pronto to discover the joys of Christmas family entertainment at its most fun!

Get reading 
Another fantastic kid-friendly event from Bookazine, this time at the grand opening party for their brand spanking new Harbour City store. First up, there’s a talk and book signing by Cindy Miller Stephens, author of Sassy Mama must-have guide, Hong Kong For Kids; then there’s a story-telling session and colouring competition by Joanna O’ Callaghan and illustrator Ralph Kiggel, the folk behind children’s story-book My Hong Kong. There will also be complimentary drinks and fruit bouquets to nibble on, plus a free goodie bag with every purchase!
