Pot pies and mini versions of Mrs B’s Cakery cakes are on the menu at C’est La B, Bonnie Gokson’s charming café bar in Tai Hang. Until recently this very local area in Causeway Bay was better known for its Fire Dragon Dance at Mid Autumn Festival. But, as the location for the first of her new chain of cafés, it is fast becoming Hong Kong’s new fashionable address to watch for in 2012.

London girls have always loved Solange Azagury Partridges jewellery, whether it’s her bespoke Filigree gold name rings, pentagram pendants or cascading earrings. But now Hong Kong girls don’t have to hit up her jewel box of a store on Bond Street for a lacquered hotlips ring, but can wander down to her new store in the IFC.

Stuck on what to buy this holiday season for younger family members? The newly opened Jack Wills stores in Leighton Centre and Harbour City offers up a British take on collegiate inspired clothing. Just the thing for your teen kids heading back to boarding school or university.

The Jonas Akerland directed, Duran Duran video for Girl Panic, the new single off the Mark Ronson produced album All You Need Is Now, sees original Supermodels Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Yasmin Le Bon, Eva Herzigiva and Helena Christensen each playing an original member of the band. Great video and great album.

The new Florence and The Machine album. The flame haired songstress’s fantastic second album, Ceremonials is totally addictive. We dare you to stop humming the darkly soulful anthem Shake It Out

Claudia Schiffer‘s cashmere collection is full of perfect knits you dream of having in your wardrobe. Jumper dress? Check. Ribbed boyfriend cardigan? Check. Not sure what to buy? Then log onto her site, watch the beautifully evocative film that shows Schiffer has lost none of the allure that propelled her into the Supermodel stratosphere, and start shopping. The only thing is, you’d better be quick as she’s finding it hard to keep items in stock. Want to see the clothes up close? Harvey Nichols Hong Kong also carries her line.

Marisa Zeman is teaming up with Mother’s Choice to throw a fun filled day for the children on 10 December. With a big Christmas tree to decorate, volunteers will help the kids make ornaments to hang while 10% of all profits will be donated to Mother’s Choice. Look out for Melissa Lo jewellery, Sleep Naked, Moshi Moshi, Marleen Molenaar, and Zeman’s own Nude is Rude by Marisa Zeman collection.
