Santa has moved from the North Pole to Pacific Place to help bring Christmas to life in Hong Kong.

Santa Claus really is coming to town (well, to Pacific Place, to be exact). He and his elves have been dashing through the snow from the North Pole to the warmer climes of Hong Kong, and has taken up residence in Admiralty for the month of December. They’ve turned Pacific Place into a one-stop winter wonderland that’s sure to delight adults as much as children.

Kids can join Team Elf and take part in a treasure hunt, while adults can sneak a peek into Santa’s private study and help him bring Christmas to life. You can also try your hand at some craft workshops with the little ones. They’ll be able to spruce up their Christmas outfits by handpicking their favourite decorations to make a festive collar. There are also craft workshops on offer for adults — choose between making a tree-shaped lighting decoration with an illuminated miniature Christmas scene inside, a Christmas-themed mechanical toy with a bespoke greeting, or even a diffuser to see you through those dry winter months.

Make sure you make a date with Santa and have a family photo taken with the man of the moment. This way you’ll be able to share the magic with family and friends around the globe, and have a keepsake for years to come. Best of all, by buying your family tickets to Santa’s Grotto you will also be helping spread some Christmas cheer to those in need. That’s because the proceeds raised from tickets to Santa’s Grotto will be donated to Operation Santa Claus.

As if that wasn’t enough, there will also be storytelling and singalong Christmas carol sessions by the two-storey Christmas tree. Don’t forget to check out the motion-sensor decorations, floating staircase and self-playing piano which will definitely leave the whole family wishing it could be Christmas every day.

When: Campaign period: Thursday, 22 November to Tuesday, 1 January, Santa’s Grotto Ticketing Counter: Monday, 26 November to Tuesday, 25 December, Santa’s Grotto Period: Saturday, 1 December to Tuesday, 25 December, Sales Redemption Period: Saturday, 1 December to Tuesday, 25 December, Performances and Workshops: Sunday, 25 November to Wednesday, 26 December.
