Anita Balagopalan, Author at Sassy Mama

Anita was born and raised in India, where she planned to become a vet, a zookeeper and a conservationist. Later, she ended up becoming a television producer with CNBC India, while keeping her childhood dreams alive by rescuing and adopting all manner of street dogs, cats, squirrels and injured birds. She moved to Hong Kong in 2011, where she lives with her menagerie which includes her husband, her two kids and a dog. She is an Editor at Sassy Mama, handling Learn, Parties & Play, Family Life and Pregnancy.
