Anita Balagopalan, Author at Sassy Mama

Anita was born and raised in India, where she planned to become a vet, a zookeeper and a conservationist. Later, she ended up becoming a television producer with CNBC India, while keeping her childhood dreams alive by rescuing and adopting all manner of street dogs, cats, squirrels and injured birds. Her ever-expanding menagerie includes her husband, her two kids, a rescue dog and fish. When not busy with her job as Senior Editor at Sassy Mama Hong Kong, she is writing short stories and screenplays, and directing Christmas productions for her children and their friends.
