Nerice Gietel, Author at Sassy Mama

Nerice's pursuit of higher education and work has taken her from Curaçao (Dutch Caribbean) to The Netherlands, England, Hong Kong and the UAE. In 2017, as a new mother, she moved with her husband and their 6-month-old baby to Hong Kong. The lessons she learned about how life events such as relocations and motherhood can impact a woman’s career led to her setting up The Career Lounge: a career coaching practice to support clients as they navigate their careers through life transitions, including becoming a parent and changing careers. Her most recent relocation has been to the UAE. She has traded the sun and sand of the beaches of Hong Kong for the sun and sand of the deserts of Abu Dhabi. She continues to have a global coaching clientele and maintains strong ties with Hong Kong, with plans to visit friends, hike and eat far too much dim sum.
