How could we not mention The Lion Rock Press as one of our top picks for Christmas decorations this year? The Hong Kong Hanging Decorations are sure to add the finishing touch to any Christmas Tree. We’ve loved the adorable Hong Kong transportation theme in previous years (featuring the star ferry, tram and local taxis), so we can’t wait to hang the newer additions up this year, including egg waffles and wontons! Don’t forget to check out the adorable charity Christmas cards and festive wrapping!

Thorn & Burrow is located right in the hip and happenin’ Sai Ying Pun and along with our favourite chic travel-inspired bohemian décor pieces, art and furniture, you will also find some great Christmas decorations and homewares. Get some sneaky shopping ticked off while you’re there with lots of gift items like stationery, jewellery, bags and purses. It also stocks Louise Hill Hong Kong artwork which is a great gift for family and friends living abroad!
This gem of a store is found on the famous Flower Market Road in Prince Edward and bizarrely, has a huge array of Christmas decorations all year round. Take a trip down the busy lanes with the kids and let them help you choose out some decorative piece for reasonable prices. The website isn’t in English, but you can navigate through using the images easily enough and this link will take you to the Christmas decorations. We love the colourful wicker reindeers!

The little alleys and market stalls in Hong Kong can be your best friend when it comes to finding some bargain decoration shopping.
Fuk Wing Street in Sham Shui Po is a great place to start. The whole street is full of shops and market stalls selling everything from tinsel to trees, baubles and lights. As you continue along the street you’ll also come upon lots of toy shops, so you can grab some gifts for your little ones while you’re at it.
If you want to stay on the island, Tai Yuen Street in Wan Chai is another safe bet. Also known as “Toy Shop Street,” it’s often a walk down memory lane for Mums and Dads with lots of nostalgic toys from our childhood. Don’t worry, you’ll find plenty for the kids too!
iDecorate is a haven for small furniture, gifts and chic accessories, no matter what time of year it is. While it doesn’t stock traditional ornaments, there are some great Christmas stockings and homewares to decorate your table settings. We love this XMAS votive set, perfect for tealights. There are some good stocking filler ideas, as well as greeting cards to go along with them.
Indigo Living is a Hong Kong homeware staple, so it’s got something for every member of the family this season. Whether you’re on the hunt for last-minute Christmas trees and fairy lights, or intricate wreaths and accessories for your Christmas tables, it’s got you covered.
kikki.K’s Christmas collection merges quirky and traditional. We love the reusable advent calendar and we’re sure the kids will love starting the countdown too! There’s a great range of porcelain decorations, baubles and also cards, wrap and trim to get your present wrapping sorted.
