Mind HK’s Mental Health First Aid Standard Training Sessions

Post Category - Just for Parents , Learn + GrowJust for Parents , Learn + Grow

In collaboration with the University of Hong Kong and funded by Aetna International, Mind Hong Kong has recently released new research regarding attitudes towards mental health and the stigma that surrounds these issues in our city. Statistics revealed that many of us do believe Hong Kong should be more tolerant but often do not make it our own personal responsibility.

Commit towards engaging with mental health, illness and wellbeing with this “Mental Health First Aid Standard” course. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the help given to someone who is developing or experiencing a mental health crisis before he or she can obtain professional treatment. Over four evenings, you will learn basic knowledge about common mental health problems and related crisis situations. Learn more and register here.

Time: Wednesday, 3 April, Thursday, 4 April, Wednesday, 10 April, Thursday, 11 April, 7pm to 10pm
