Get ready to jazz up your November! Cathay • WestK Jazz Fest returns to the WestK for 10 days of live music, bringing together more than 100 international and local artists across nearly 50 performances and experiences. Big names include Kenny G, Diana Krall and Stacey Kent, alongside Hong Kong favourites Andy Hui, JACE and Cy Leo. While music lovers can book tickets to headline concerts, there’s also plenty to enjoy without spending a dollar. Families can make a day of it with more than 30 free programmes across the Art Park, live performances at Lau Bak Livehouse, a two-day F&B market and the new Groove Grove Music Healing Zone, all set against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour.

Ping Shan Living Theatre – Free Family-Friendly Heritage Adventures
History comes to life along the Ping Shan Heritage Trail this November! Little detectives can hunt for a missing treasure, uncover clues and discover the area’s fascinating history. Families can also enjoy an immersive theatre performance that brings the past into the present, plus creative workshops exploring the historic buildings through art. It’s a fun way to introduce kids to Hong Kong’s heritage, with activities suitable for ages 6 and up. Sessions run in Cantonese, with English and Mandarin support.

M+ Celebrates Its Fifth Anniversary With Free Family Activities And Creative Workshops
M+ is turning five, and there’s plenty of family fun planned for the celebrations! Kids can create colourful Pixel Monsters, build their own pinhole cinema and transform recycled materials into musical instruments. Don’t miss The Recycled Orchestra of Cateura, featuring young musicians performing with instruments made from discarded materials. There are also special gallery tours, pop-up performances and film screenings. Best of all? M+ is offering free admission to its designated exhibitions on Sunday, 8 November!

A day at the beach with a little environmental education thrown in? We’re in! Treasure Island’s Eco Festival By The Bay brings together local conservation groups working to protect Hong Kong’s oceans, beaches and wildlife. Kids can explore the Eco Action Village, discover how they can help protect our planet and enjoy family-friendly activities. There’s also live music, food and drinks, making this a lovely excuse for a family day out on Lantau. Bring the dog along too!

Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary Takes Over Festival Walk – Pop-Up Store, Games And Themed Treats
Pokémon fans, this one’s for you! Festival Walk is going all out for Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, with Hong Kong’s first official Pokémon Center pop-up store. Kids can meet Pikachu and Eevee, explore giant Pokémon installations, try Nintendo Switch 2 games and discover the Pokémon Trading Card Game. There’s even a themed photo booth and creative colouring activities. Over at BAKERY BY THE GRAND, the celebrations continue with Pokémon-inspired cakes, colourful milkshakes and special afternoon tea sets. Fairy tales are taking over Causeway Bay! One of our favourite free family events returns with its biggest celebration yet. Standard Chartered Arts in the Park brings classic stories to life with giant puppets, 17 creative arts booths, storytelling in English and Cantonese, African drumming workshops and 60 live performances. Keep an eye out for characters from Little Red Riding Hood, Aladdin and more! Don’t miss Saturday’s magical illuminated Night Parade or Sunday’s spectacular Grand Finale, featuring 10 giant puppets towering four metres high.

Macau’s Hac Sa Beach is transforming into a huge outdoor music and sports festival this November! With seven themed zones, families can enjoy live bands, DJs, dance parties, interactive workshops and a beachside food market. There’s plenty for active older kids and teens, from fitness challenges to energetic dance sessions and freestyle rap workshops. Or simply soak up the music and atmosphere by the sea! Tuen Mun Public Riding School Open Day – Free Family Fun For Horse Lovers
Tuen Mun Public Riding School is opening its doors for an afternoon of equestrian fun. Hong Kong Disneyland Magic Run Fest – Registration Closed
Hong Kong Disneyland’s popular annual 10K Weekend has grown into the all-new Magic Run Fest! This family-friendly running festival offers themed races designed for participants aged 3 and above, winding through iconic park lands including World of Frozen, Toy Story Land, and Tomorrowland. Disney friends and Pixar pals line the routes to cheer on runners, making it a fun day out for serious runners and casual joggers alike. Ocean Park Run For Survival 2026 – Family Fun Run For Wildlife Conservation
Lace up those trainers and get the whole family moving for a good cause! Ocean Park’s annual Run For Survival returns with a 1km Little Heroes Run, 4km family challenge and 5km timed race.
