Child-Friendly Dentist in Hong Kong: Tam, Hulac and & Partners

If you’re anything like me, going to the dentist is not exactly high on your “fun to do in Hong Kong” list.  However, I’ve found a spot that just might change all that:  Tam, Hulac & Partners Dental Ltd.

Boasting “Stress Free Dentistry…..Beautiful Smiles,” this place really could make a convert of even the most rabid anti-dentite.  As soon as you enter, Tam, Hulac & Partners’ soothing, beautifully designed waiting rooms instantly put you at ease.  You can sit back and peruse the latest magazines, close your eyes and listen to the calming music, or have a Nespresso of your choice as you await your treatment.

Once inside the “treatment suites”, the rooms are equiped with the latest state of the art machines, immaculate, and decorated in lovely colors-not your typical dentist’s office. Best of all, as you lie down to have your teeth whitened to movie-star perfection, you can watch Sex and The City on the Ceiling! Each treatment area comes equipped with a flat-screen tv on the ceiling, so you can forget that you’re getting another filling as a result of all that chocolate you’ve been eating, and enjoy browsing through a whole library of movies and television shows.

The entire staff is so welcoming and gracious-and fantastic with kids too.  They all seemed to know just what to say to get my five-year-old to sit still for a cleaning (of course, the Barbie movie she got to watch certainly helped) and an x-ray. I have actually heard the following words come out of my child’s mouth, “Mama, when can I go back to the dentist?  I want to go every day!” Now, if that isn’t a ringing endorsement, I don’t know what is!
