Fresh off the back of last month’s sold-out Thanksgiving Dinner, the team at Commissary are putting on another spread of epic epicurean proportions this Christmas Eve. The entire front counter will be transformed to feature a smorgasbord of traditional delights (like Roast turkey with sage and onion stuffing, Slow smoked pork shoulder, Braised brisket ragu and more!). Sides include everything from creamy mashed potatoes to baked yams, maple and chilli butter and Brussels sprouts with bacon. Make sure to save space for the Christmas Bread Pudding and Blackberry Cobbler to round out the night. The experts here promise there’s something for every member of the family!

Hands up, whose favourite part of Christmas is the leftovers? If this is you, you’re going to want to head to The Butchers Club Burger this season. With its latest monthly burger, “The Gobbler,” includes all the best bit of Christmas dins, lovingly sandwiched between two soft bun halves. We’re talking a southern fried buttermilk turkey escalope with crisp parsnip chips, aromatic sausage and sage stuffing, crispy bacon, coleslaw, and a smear of cranberry aioli, for good measure. We’ve tried it, and it is truly delicious.
