Have your kids got talent? Enter them into the Wonderkids HK talent show!

So it’s playtime with the kiddos just before dinner and what do they want to do? That’s right – put on a musical! Despite your wish for a bit of peace and quiet at the end of a long day, you reluctantly agree to pull out the karaoke machine. During “rehearsal”, you realise that the little one’s singing voice is much, much different to when they’re screaming for more ice cream! It’s silky and velvety, potentially the voice of the next Mariah! If only there was somewhere to showcase their talent…

Thankfully, there is! Wonderkids Hong Kong is calling for all singers, dancers, artists and writers to audition on May 4 for their first ever Wonder Kids Hong Kong talent show. The competition is open to kids ages 4 to 14 years old and auditions will be held on both the Kowloon side and the Hong Kong Island side. For the writing and art categories, Wonder Kids have also teamed up with leading children’s newspaper Kids Dailies.

Once the auditions are over, 10 finalists from each category will compete against each other in the finals, which will take place on May 18 at Mariners’ Club in Tsim Sha Tsui. The winner will be presented with a cash voucher to be used in pursuit of their talent. The event will also be attended by a surprise mystery child celebrity and part of the proceeds will go towards charity. Happy rehearsing!
