With so many distractions in today’s tech-savvy world, every mama knows it’s not easy raising 21st century kids with a broad range of knowledge and skills (and we don’t just mean being able to text at hyper-speed on an iPhone!). Bebegarten is all about developing well-rounded kids across the board, from social skills to language development to creative thinking – and their upcoming series of parenting workshops ensure that Mum and Dad are fully-equipped to oversee that! Whether you choose to attend all five workshops or just one, these sessions are sure to bring you one step closer to raising successful citizens of the world:

“It’s Fun to Talk”
30 October, 2014

Missing the dinnertime gabfest? This talk is aimed at addressing the lack of interaction between parents and kids and suggesting ways to make the most out of your daily time together. No matter your kid’s age, learn how to support development of their speech and language skills, and desire for communication.

“Strategies for Successful Parenting”
1 December, 2014

Led by Mary Mountstephen, author and UK-based child development expert, this talk will delve into Mary’s personal success stories and detail the ways in which parents can identify their child’s strengths and weaknesses to encourage positive growth.

“Understanding Dual Language Development in Children”
29 January, 2015

This topic is especially important for us parents in Hong Kong! With our kids growing up in a bilingual environment, this talk will discuss dual language development and how to maintain a household where more than one language is spoken.

“Sensory Integration: Exploration Through the Senses”
17 March, 2015

It’s no news that sensory learning is critical to children’s development. Get a clear overview by Occupational Therapist Aynsley Carter of the relationship between our brain and our senses and an understanding of how to support children’s development through sensory integration.

“The ABCs of Your Child’s Developing Brain”
23 April, 2015

Taking the ‘Neurobiopsychosocial’ approach, Child Psychologist Scarlett Mattoli will share how all areas of child development interact and depend upon each other, and how to prepare your kid for their first primary level education experience!

Pricing: $250 per session.
Ready to tackle all five topics, mama? Register for the series and receive a special discounted price of just $1,000. You’re bound to learn more than a few useful tricks that can be implemented at home as you tackle the challenging task of parenting in the 21st century!
