The Walrus

64 Staunton Street, Central, Hong Kong

The Walrus is a tiny spot, with decor inspired by adventures of the open sea. The name of the bar is inspired by Lewis Carroll’s poem The Walrus and The Carpenter in Alice in Wonderland, which tells of a cheeky walrus who lures dozens of oysters out of the sea so he can eat them! The Walrus is a cool, casual oyster bar – one of the first of its kind in Hong Kong! Along with dozens of varieties of fresh oysters, as the sister restaurant of The Woods, it goes without saying they’ll also be serving up an amazing selection of cocktails to wash it all down.
