There are lots of things to do with Dad on Sunday 19th June to celebrate Father’s Day, but a meal out to celebrate him being the best dad around is usually on our agenda. And of course, many of our favorite restaurants around town have some super specials just for dad. Here are a few to consider:
LIBERTY EXCHANGE ‘BEER BRUNCH’
Reason number 1 to consider Liberty Exchange for Father’s Day this year: the generous folks offer free-flowing pints of Stella Artois, Erdinger and Hoegaarden all afternoon! Brilliant. And for Father’s Day weekend they’ve got a special Father’s Day Prime Rib Roast Brunch for $348 (includes starter, main and dessert). The delish regular brunch menu will also be served, as will yummy kids favorites like Mac n Cheese, mini burgers, milkshakes, and more.

A FAMILY STYLE ITALIAN FEAST AT 208 DUECENTO OTTO
The buzz on everyone’s lips recently has been about 208 Duecento Otto, the gorgeous Italian restaurant that people are raving about, set close to Hollywood Road’s antiques area.
So why not check it out on Father’s Day and indulge in a fabulous feast with a special 10-dish menu? Yes, that’s right — 10 dishes for just HK$388 per adult and HK$288 per child to share as a family in true Italian style! Oh, and there is a complimentary bottle of wine for every Dad too!

THE PAWN’S ROOFTOP BBQ
We love love love alfresco dining (wish there was more of it!!) and one of our tops spots in town is The Pawn. Their all-you-can eat barbecue brunch in their stunning rooftop garden on Sundays can’t be beat – HK$388 gets you a welcome drink (make mine a Bloody Mary), a delish bbq main course, loads of sides and dessert – oh, and unlimited house pours (yes, please!).

WHISKEY THEMED DINNER AT THE STEAK HOUSE
The InterContinental’s Steak House Winebar + Grill is upping the ante with their whiskey-themed dinner, where every dish is – you guessed it – all about whiskey. The HK$1,288 four-course meal starts with a scallop marinated in Jim Beam, moves on to an organic chicken consomme with whiskey girolle mushrooms, then a choice of two surf and turf options: US striploin and Boston lobster thermidor, served with shallot whiskey sauce; or Australian rack of lamb and Boston lobster thermidor with sage whiskey sauce. Each meal also includes a glass of 2006 Chateau Monbousquet. De-lish.
