Instant Goddess stomps the urban runway with boots by ASOS, River Island, DVF and Next, snuggles up with Spirit Hoods and declares her allegiance to #TEAMNIGELLA

Tis’ the season to be boot-wearing, so what’s in store? Quite a lot of overpriced stuff and the usual lack of choice for those with a bigger foot… that’s what’s in store on the HK high street! So what’s an Instant Goddess to do?! Turn on the ‘puter and get clicking of course! Once again it’s hallelujah for online shopping, and with more and more stores not only delivering to the ‘Kong but in record speedy times – internet shopping has to be embraced to get more bang for your buck (and the right shoe size of course!).

This is what got the Instant Goddess radar twinkling this week in the boot stratosphere…

The best way to kick off (pun intended!) is ALWAYS with a show-stopping party boot or two. Add these to your party armour and even the angry Queen Bee in the corner who’s on a detox will think twice about messing with you!

These boots are made for walking… ok, enough of the singing – what about the FASH? Party boots aside, comfort is the order of the day with these numbers below. As you’ll see, Instant Goddess does love a low wedge to give you enough height to slim the leg in those tight jeggings, but low enough so you can still scoot around town.

So, we’ve done feet… what about heads? During my trawl of ASOS one night, I discovered LA brand Spirit Hoods. And what do you think of these? Of course, probably it won’t get cold enough for these in the good old ‘852, but if you’re heading off to freezing climes for Chrimbo then you might be grateful to snuggle up in one of these. Mr Instant Goddess thinks they’re vulgar, but I think they would look pretty cool over a big, long puffa coat.

Midweek Meal Inspiration

This week it’s Shortcut Sausage Meatballs courtesy of Nigella Lawson, who has grabbed headlines in the UK of late (and probably feels like saying “balls” to ex-hubby Charles Saatchi!) But enough of the asides… quick, easy, comfort food to keep you warm at night – surely even Mr Saatchi can’t argue with that! (Although apparently he prefers burnt toast and weak tea to Nigella’s creations… hmm!). #TEAMNIGELLA
