And the first 500 people in line will get a goody bag worth at least $280!

Europe’s leading bath and body brand is finally available right here in the 852. Rituals Cosmetics opened its first HK store in Times Square last month and in just a few days time, on Friday, 20 September, it will be opening its doors in the middle of the ifc mall (right next to Zara!). We guarantee this Sassy Mama tried-and-tested brand will bring a whole new meaning to your “me-time”.

As parents, it can be hard to find enough hours in the day to get through your to-do list, which is why it’s even more important to make sure we slow down and indulge in some self-care and mindfulness (preferably on a daily basis if the little ones allow it). So what if we told you the whole ethos of this Dutch brand revolves around the philosophy that “happiness can be found in the smallest of things” and we believe its luxurious, but affordable, products prove just that!

Each of its collections is inspired by a different Asian “ritual”, designed to transform your daily routines (we’re talking shower time, face cleansing and even putting on hand cream) into more meaningful moments. Its signature fragrances have been developed by the world’s finest perfumers so we predict you’ll have trouble choosing a favourite.

The brand also gets extra brownie points from us because a lot of its pretty packaging is refillable (even its face cream) in an effort to limit waste. Its products are all clean, safe and formulated from as many natural ingredients as possible. If you don’t know what to choose, we suggest you treat yourself to one of its best-selling shower foams ($85) and one of its beautifully-indulgent shower oils ($85) for starters. Its Ayurveda (with Indian rose and sweet almond oil) and Sakura (with cherry blossom and organic rice milk) fragrances are both winners in our book. We also think every mama should keep its The Ritual of Dao Relaxing Serum ($120) in their handbags. It’s a cooling cream rollerball that’s perfect for those moments when you need to take a few deep breaths and reset. And just in case the papas are feeling left out, we predict its The Ritual of Samurai range will find favour with the men in your life.

So if you can’t wait to give Rituals Cosmetics a go, or are already a devoted fan, we suggest you head down to the store opening in the ifc this Friday, 20th September. It officially opens that morning, but if you’re one of the first 500 people in line at 4pm you will receive a goody bag worth $280 (thank us later!).
