So today little J went to her first big-kid birthday party… Hong Kong style.  Many of you probably know what this means, but for the uninitiated let’s just say moms in this town do it up.  We’re talking clowns, games, fancy grown-up food, finger food for the kiddies, not 1 but 2 pinatas…I was more or less equallyin awe of and totally freaked out by the power mom who threw this bash…though her mother-in-law did let it slip that she was up until 1:30am putting the finishing touches on the goodie bags.
