Obsessed with… The Bumbo

I first caught a glimpse of this funny little seat on a friend’s Facebook page and of course expected that if it was half as awesome as she said it was, that it probably was not available in Hong Kong (isn’t that the way it is here sometimes??).  But as luck would have it, the two stores I have a love-hate relationship with – Bumps to Babes andMothercare – BOTH carry the Bumbo…Jackpot!

For new moms, here’s the 411:  The Bumbo is designed for a ‘pre-sitting baby’ to help them experience sitting upright semi-independently. The foam seat fully supports your baby’s back and provides a comfortable position as long as your baby is old enough to hold the weight of his or her head – which J is now able to do (you go, girl!).  The kiddo loves it –  and so do the experts… it’s got more awards than I can mention here.

Safety note (and plain ol’ common sense) – Keep your bambino and his Bumbo safely on the floor, and make sure to monitor your child in it at all times….
