The Pizza Project’s ‘Wheel Of Fire’
Mamas, grab your friends – or daring teens who fancy themselves invincible – and head out for this tasty challenge! We’re not mincing our words – this isn’t for the faint of heart (or stomach). The Pizza Project is known for its ever-changing array of collabs and innovative flavours. This April, it’s turning up the temperature by introducing a Heat Ladder. This is one pizza made of six slices of escalating heat zones. It starts with Sriracha – gentle and garlicky – then moves to Chipotle, Mexican Green Sauce, Tabasco Habanero, XX Peri-Peri and finally Scorpion. Each sauce has its own Scoville rating (from 1,800 to 1,000,000), and if you’ve ever seen Hot Ones, you know which level tends to leave its tasters in tears and runny noses. You are highly advised to keep a cooling drink (maybe something dairy-based) at hand and remember to pace yourself!
When: Wednesday, 1 to Thursday, 30 April 2026
Where: The Pizza Project, G/F, 5 Star Street, Wan Chai, Hong Kong & The Pizza Project, G/F, 26 Peel Street, Central, Hong Kong
How much: $180 per pizza
