Mums know better than anyone else how quickly kids grow. Sometimes, they grow so quickly, that by the time you make it home from the clothing store they’ve gone up a whole size! (If this happens, you should probably be a little worried.) But, in case they’ve just experienced a growth spurt, Fleababy has got your back. Fleababy gives mums the opportunity to both sell baby’s clothing (and other baby items) and buy second-hand clothing (that’s mostly in prime condition). It’s also a great site to browse around if you’re just looking for a good bargain!
The Incy Wincy Powder Room
The Powder Room is as adorably posh as it sounds. It is the perfect site to go to for some online Mama-daughter shopping. The shop sells the prettiest baby’s tutus, PJs and undies you’ve ever seen (seriously, though, your daughter will be 100% convinced that she’s royalty if you buy her one of its tutus), and gorgeous silk robes and lingerie for us mamas.
We Sassy Mamas are all for affordable fashion (especially for kids!), but from time to time it’s nice (and necessary) to dress our kids up in smarter, chic-er clothing. Melijoe, the online children’s designer clothing website, boasts brands such as Armani Junior, Versace, Marc Jacobs and Hugo Boss that will make your children the best dressed munchkins in town. If you’re thinking “That’s still totally out of my budget”, don’t fret! The website has frequent sales and non-designer brands as well! So, you’re bound to find something that’s right in your zone.
Mothers en Vogue
Although its physical store has closed, you can still shop online. We’ve featured Mothers en Vogue on Sassy Mama many times for its stylish yet practical post-natal and maternity wear; however, Mothers en Vogue is also known for its “awww!” inducing, matching mother and baby apparel. This now online-only boutique is definitely worth checking out for children’s clothing whether you’re in the pregnancy/post-natal phase or not!
Sometimes you just need to stock up simple basics. Minimal is a great go-to for plain t-shirts, tanks and oh so comfy track pants. Best of all, part of the proceeds from each of Pepper & Mint’s sales will be donated to Volunteer for the Visayans (VFV), a charity organisation in the Philippines.
We here at Sassy Mama are huge fans of HK’s first online consignment store, Retykle. Because babies and kids grow so quickly, it’s sometimes hard to justify spending the money on adorable clothing. Retykle is the answer to your concerns! You’ll be able to find gently used (and even new with tags!) high-end designer clothing for babies and kids (up to age 12), you’ll feel good about not making an environmental impact by purchasing recycled clothing, and your baby will look fab while you do it!
Some of us just want basic, beautiful clothing that isn’t too dressy or costly. Launched by two mums who wanted clothing for their kids that matched their own aesthetic, Spicy Lil Tofu carries essentials for any season.
Started by one of our That Mamas, Suzie Levett, Snugalicious is all about cosy and comfortable clothing that makes you just want to snuggle in for the evening with your family! We love its Hugh the Hippo long-sleeved onesies and these adorable coral-striped hats in blue or pink. Don’t miss out on their super soft sleepwear too – and enjoy free shipping anywhere in Hong Kong!
This isn’t a clothing store but it’s got such great essentials we couldn’t ignore it. For babies (even newborns!) whose little eyes need protecting from harmful UV rays, you can find great sunglasses. It also stocks fun lunchboxes, coloring mats, jewellery, wrapping paper and more.
